This question struck me last night when my 3 year old asked me a question. We were reading in his kids bible about how Jesus will separate the wicked from the righteous (and yes his bible used those words). I wanted to burn through the story becuase I was tired and was looking forward to both kids being asleep before 7:30. God then wrecked my sinful intentions and impressed on me the seriousness of Mason’s question. What is righteous? What is wicked? Why does Jesus have to separate them? Where do they go? Yeah…that’s normal 3 year old talk. But as his Daddy I needed to answer him because I am the spiritual leader of my family. So I started with where any good biblical theology needs and must start, with God. Over the next few weeks I will write about basic biblical theology. I will start with whats most important, God. Thanks to my 3 year old and God moving in his heart.
